Adding, modifying Generic schedule rules
Generic schedule rules are custom rules that can be applied to any type of device with write access. These rules are created to send commands at a particular time of day or week based on the schedule.
Users can modify rules anytime, according to the situation.
Navigate to the page by clicking on
Settings > IQnext Settings > Device Rule Settings > Generic Schedule Rules
1.These device rules are displayed in a tabular form as,
Rule Name: a recognisable name for the rule
Device Type: the type of device, rule is applied to
Devices: displays the number of devices added to the rule. Click on it, to check the device list added.
Visualize: a calendar icon is displayed. Click on to view the date & time of the rule applied.

How to add Generic Schedule Rules?

On the top right corner, click on the +Add button.
Enter “Rule name”. Rule name must signify the rule added.
Write “Description”. It will help others to understand the rule.
Choose “device type” from the dropdown.

Under “Enable rule on”
Click on the checkboxes for the days, rule that needs to be added.
Set time for which rule needs to be added. User can also set more than one time for a single day but clicking on “+” button.

Select “parameter” from the dropdown given. Then, write “action” .

User can also copy the time, parameter set for a particular day to other days by clicking on the copy button. Days can be selected by the dropdowns given and click apply.

Take a decision if the rule should be applied on official holidays or not
Under select devices, select the devices for which rule needs to be applied.
Click “save”.
How to edit Generic Schedule Rules?
Click on the three dots option present in the row
Click on Edit button
Make necessary changes, and save the changes
Visualising schedules through calendar
Users can see the rules applied throughout the week through a calendar view.
