Maintenance: How to customize layout, status, categories or priorities?

Maintenance settings and customization:

  1. Go to the settings page

  2. Maintenance > Customization

  3. You can manage, review and customize maintenance related layout, categories, status and priorities 

Layout customization:

  1. Click on layout.

  2. You will see the option to customize the layout for different components, such as work orders, preventive maintenance, and work order requests.

  3.  Choose the tab for which you wish to change the layout.

  4. Click on "standard". This will open a dialog box containing the pre-existing layout fields for that section.

  5. To add a new field to the layout, locate the "add field" button at the bottom left corner of the dialog box. Click on it to add a field based on your requirements.

  6. Customize the field by specifying its label, data type, and any other relevant settings.

  7. Save the changes:

Category Customization:

  1. Click on the "categories" to proceed.

  2. You can view the list of categories that are currently set up.

  3. To add a new maintenance category, look for the "+ Add" button on the top right corner of the page. Click on it to open a dialog box.

  4. Enter the name of new maintenance category

  5. Click on Save.

Status Customization:

  1. Click on the "status" to proceed.

  2. You can view the list of pre-existing statuses along with their indicators and colors.

  3. To add a new status, look for the "+ Add" button on the top right corner of the page. Click on it to open a dialog box.

  4. In the dialog box, you need to provide the name of the status, choose a color associated with the status, and select an indicator.

  5. Click on “Save” to add status to the list

Priority Customization:

  1. Click on Priority.

  2. You can view the list of pre-existing priorities along with their associated colors.

  3. To add a new priority, look for the "+ Add" button on the top right corner of the page. Click on it to open a dialog box.

  4. Enter the name for the priority and choose a color associated with it.

  5. Click on save to add the priority to the list.
