Mapping Gateway boundary

For the wireless LMS solution, the devices need to be within the vicinity of the gateway to establish communication. Hence we draw a gateway boundary by complying to the requirements and all the nodes within the boundary communicate to that IQnext gateway.


Viewing and Editing Gateway Boundary


  1. Log in to IQnext with the Administrator privileges
  2. Go to Settings > IQnext SettingsDevice Zone Mapping Gateway Zone.
  3. A list of different buildings in the organization appears.
  4. Select the arrow ▶ in front of the building name to access floors associated with it.
  5. Click the floor name you want to access the zones for.Select the zone from the CAD layout of the floor plan or the list on the side panel you want to inspect.
  6. On the left panel, gateway names will be displayed. 
  7. Click on it to view details of that particular gateway, and the zone on the floor map will turn green
