Mapping Gateway Zones
To understand the placement of gateway devices in different zones, the user can view maps of different floors where each gateway’s geographical location is symbolically represented along with zone boundaries. Users can also gather basic information about a zone like a zone name, WSNetc.
Viewing and Editing Gateway Zones
To view different gateway zones of a floor and the devices operating under them
Log in to IQnext with the Administrator privileges.
Go to Settings > Device Zone Mapping > Gateway Zone. A list of different buildings in the organization appears.
Select the arrow ▶ in front of the building name to access floors associated with it.
Click the floor name you want to access the zones for.
Select the zone from the CAD layout of the floor plan or the list on the side panel you want to inspect.
The selected zone will be highlighted with an outline around it.
To edit Gateway Controller (zone) name
Select the zone from the CAD layout of the floor plan or the list on the side panel.
Press Save after making changes in the controller (zone) name.
