Mapping Lighting Zones


To understand the placement of lighting devices in different zones, the user can view maps of different floors where each device’s geographical location is symbolically represented along with zone boundaries. Users can also gather basic information about a zone like a zone name, lighting rule, etc.


Viewing and Editing Lighting Zones


To view different lighting zones of a floor and the devices operating under them.


  1. Log in to IQnext with the Administrator privileges.

  2. Go to Settings Device Zone Mapping Lighting Zone. A list of different buildings in the organization appears.

  3. Select the arrow ▶ in front of the building name to access floors associated with it.

  4. Click the floor name you want to access the zones for.

 

  1. Select the zone from the CAD layout of the floor plan or the list on the side panel you want to inspect.

The selected zone will be highlighted with an outline around it.


To edit zone rules name or description 

  1. Select the zone from the CAD layout of the floor plan or the list on the side panel.

  1. Press Save after making changes in zone name, lighting rule from the drop-down menu, or description.
