To notify the users about a malfunctioning device or the status of its operation (active or not) IQnext sends notifications through various channels like in-app notifications or emails. This setting is personal for each user and you can change this setting at any time.
Log in to your IQnext account.
Go to Settings >Notification >Notification Management.
Select the ellipsis ⁝ at the end of the row for the Device Category.
you want to enable/disable notifications. Select Edit from the drop-down menu.
Enable/disable in-app notifications by clicking on the slider. These notifications are accessible by the bell icon in the top right of the platform window.
Enable/disable email notifications by clicking on the slider. The platform sends notifications of the status of the devices( whether active or not) on the registered email id. It also tells the user, the timestamp when the device was last active.
In case you do not wish to receive the email notifications at every instant but want it aggregated and delivered at the end of a certain time, you can enable Aggregate notifications and select the Wait Time for the same.
Enabling/disabling External Email Addresses. This feature is used to get the email notifications on an external email address not registered with the platform. Enable it by typing a valid email address and clicking the check box.
NOTE:
Enabling or disabling the email notification setting will not affect this configuration, but the aggregate notification will work the same for both configurations.
After making necessary changes click Save at the bottom.
