Set Login Attempts Configuration

Set Login Attempts Configuration

To protect the system from non-authorized password attacks, the admin can specify the number of wrong guesses after which the account ( email id) will be locked out. You can specify the number of login attempts as well as the time after which the user could try to log in again.

(To Protect your platform effectively, you can limit the number of failed login attempts per user.

For example, you can say after 5 failed attempts, lock the user out temporarily. If someone has more than 5 failed attempts, then your platform blocks their IP for a temporary period of time based on your settings. You can make it 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 2-3 hours, and even longer)
