Assets: Basic overview of QR Codes and how to print
QR codes are two-dimensional barcodes that store information.
In asset management, these codes are assigned to assets to track and identify them. Scanning a QR code fetches asset details such as asset ID, serial number, purchase date, maintenance history, location, warranty information, and more, making it easy to manage maintenance, and service. QR codes offer mobile accessibility and can integrate with asset management systems for real-time updates.
For printing Single QR code for an asset follow below steps:
Access the assets page.
In the asset list view, locate and select the specific asset for which you want to print the QR.
After selecting the required asset, the asset details page opens up.
On the right side of the page you can see a QR Code for the asset.
Below the QR, you can see the option to Print QR
For printing multiple QR code for an asset follow below steps:
Access the assets page.
In the asset list view, select the checkboxes of the assets for which you want to print the QR.
After selecting the required assets, Manage QR appears on the top panel. Click on it.
A dialog box opens consisting of the QR codes of selected assets, if required adjust the size of the QR codes from the slider available on top.
Find the option to Print QR on the top.
