Triggered Alarms Page Overview

When any device meets the criteria of the alarm rule, an alarm is triggered. When the alarm is triggered selected users will get notified. 

Users can then check the descriptive details of every alarm trigger through the triggered alarms page.

The data is represented in tabular format, which includes, Alarm ID, Alarm name, Severity, Device type, Devices, Location, Triggers, Alarm Status, Workorder, Workorder status. List is always displayed according to most recent trigger showing first. 


Details of the columns are mentioned below:

  1. Alarm ID: A distinct identification of alarms with specific alphabets and numbers

  2. Alarm name: A name assigned to alarms for identification of the scenario

  3. Severity: Severity of the alarm rule

  4. Device type: Device type for which the alarm rule is created

  5. Devices: Total number of devices for which the alarm is triggered for that alarm rule

  6. Location: Location of the device

  7. Triggers: Total number of triggers occurred. If you expand the row, you can also check the number of triggers for each device

  8. Status: To check the status of the alarm

  9. Work order: To create a work order for the particular alarm

  10. Work order status: To check the status of the work order


Navigating through the Triggered alarm page:

  1. Click on the dropdown button along with the alarm id, to expand/ collapse the parent row.

  2. When expanded, users can see a list of devices for which the particular alarm is triggered



  1. Click on the filter icon on the left top corner, user can select severity, status, device type according to requirement and click apply. Users can also multiselect checkboxes. 

           

  1. Users can also search for the alarm on search bar.

  1. If user wants to view details of the alarm, click on the row you want to view, you will be navigated to the View Alarms page. 

  2. If you want to mark multiple triggers as acknowledged or done in one shot, use the checkboxes present on the left side, click on the relevant option on the top of the table

              
                 
      7. You can use the table navigation options in the bottom of the page to increase entries in the table and to navigate to different pages.

           

           
8. To view information of alarms which are closed, Click on the Alarm History button -
9. To create a new alarm rule click on the +New alarm button -
10. To view already created alarm rules, use the page navigation tabs on the top left of the screen and click on Alarm Rules tab -
